Yesterday I set up my mobile phone bluetooth link. Simple job and now I can listen to music I have on it. I am impressed with the sound. On the old trad I had a Blaupunkt radio that came with the car but rarely used as wind/road noise cancelled it out. The new car seems slightly quieter and the sound system better. The music sound was good, so a test on the move next.
I still think the location of the usb socket is daft though. Right at the back of the glovebox making plugging in satnav or phone needs the glovebox open. I’ll have another look to see if an usb male to female extension can be routed out somewhere. Maybe a small loop to hook over the glovebox button to keep it in a just open position to let a cable out. Satnav is ok but I am a bit reluctant to enclose the phone in there for charging. It’s an iphone with the charging set to monitor it. It can get warm hence not done in an enclosed space.
