If you revert to the earlier single line system with remote servo it will feel a lot better. In fact it shouldn't make too much difference to not have a servo.
I tried for 22 years to get a harder pedal with the dual system, and nothing made any difference.
Pump the pedal with the engine off, and the pedal will come up. Start the engine with your foot still on the pedal, and it will sink again.
