I think I need to get myself one of those - it'll need to be portable as I'll have to drag it from the back of the garden to the front drive, but would certainly save my back and knees....

As for the original question - still as enthused with tinkering as i ever was. State of the roads doesn't really bother me as I'm happy to drive according to conditions and not desperate to race everywhere. These days I actually seem to prefer bimbling along - if I wanted to 'make progress' I'd probably get hampered by dithery motorists or cyclists which increases my stress levels. Easier to tuck in, crank up the tunes and enjoy the scenery......

This week I've got a few little jobs on the MG, a few pre-holiday checks on the Morgan, got to prep the ZX10 for MOT and get the GL1000 ready for sale. The only thing that stops me is the weather - no joy in tinkering in the rain.
