Was it blowing fuses before you replaced the pump? If not I would suggest you check all the fuel pump supply wires that you have disturbed with the pump replacement. If it was then it could be a chaffed loom anywhere, an increasingly common problem. Is the pump a genuine Walbro fuel pump? There are a lot of fake ones about. There are ways to identify what you have if you look up "Walbro fuel pump fake vs real". This pump replacement is a common upgrade that usually causes no problems.
