I'm really struggling to see what the problem is? It appears pretty straightforward?
If you regularly take a partner or family member to a MSCC event, then take out joint membership (at no extra cost) so they are named, and then they are fully covered by MSCC event insurance and can also take advantage of other member benefits.
If you don't, then it doesn't effect you at all.
This thread is confusing the request by MSCC to take out joint membership regarding
MSCC Insurance Policy Requirements 4.7.24"A single MSCC membership gives access to the named person to all aspects of
Club/Centre activities including All Member insurance cover." and the move by MSCC to promote a single car insurance provider.
My question refers to the former. What is covered? Me falling down the steps at a pub when attending a Nogin? Being injured when visiting a venue (museum, etc) when organised by a MSCC centre? Am I covered should I not be able to attend MogFest due to illness but having bought the tickets?
As for the promotion of Peter James Insurance that is a different subject.
