finally got the sensors via a main dealer,it seems the old fae ones were for both the 4.6 and my 4.0,no matter i couldnt get them anyway,now have lucas leb 396 sensors.first lesson learned, main dealer first,parts companies second.on the web there are sites that give you alternatives but the lucas ones were not on it.a lot of the parts companies dont have morgan on their list and in my case because the previous owner put a private plate on it ,it is not recognised by its number plate.sadly the problem is still there,fast idle then slows< up and down and then in my case at a hill side t junction gave up the ghost,got it going buts it is running like a dog.nothing showing on my cheapo code reader,so have managed to get it booked in to a garage who have an autologic machine,they didnt reply to my e mails so went there in person ,on a bus.i have took go mogs advice contacted mark adams and will put a dent in my depleted morgan fund.tornado chip,knock sensor and immobiliser issue(which i havent got yet)and anything else he can think of will go on the list,including a scanner that reads morgans,just awaiting a reply,my own gut feeling its an injector problem,but with my lack of knowledge a bad back and an increasingly short temper,the car is on the naughty step in the garage and i am staying clear until monday week when i will try to get to the autologic garage"if we are not to busy"which doesnt bode well......i hope we have an indian summer
