May I suggest you need to know the starting position (condition) with regards to your current Morgan as to the necessary if any works needed. Once you understand that and the likely costs, you can determine whether it still features in your plans for continental touring;
In its favour is a basic electrical system, no catalytic convertors and associated sensors and so on, With fitment of eg electronic points it might prove a very simple car to keep on the road compared to a modern Morgan. Automatic conversions have been done on +8's so there's a known solution; perhaps fitment of unleaded heads may make it easy for refuelling on long journeys.
The reality is there are very few modern brands that deliver 100% reliability.
