Hi Peter, several of us reported the false positive to AVG. As this didn't seem to have any effect, I and possibly others migrated to other AV software.
I noticed a strong similarity between Avast and AVG from the user interface point of view. I think it was Ian who suggested that AVG actually owned Avast.
