As an e-car developer I read this thread with much interest.

One thing is currently missing for me. Many fear the high depreciation. It is currently true and a good chance for the less wealthy to hop on the EV train.
The time will come where the public has to understand, that EVs will last much longer as the thought. Prices will stabilize the following years.

The time is perfect to start with a used EV or to keep the new one a bit longer...

I started with elctric company cars five years ago and have to say:

e-tron 50 - 250km range => not enough for my business but with up to 135KW charging capacity ok
e-tron 55 - 400km range => ok for my business with up to 150KW charging capacity even better (still made sure to start fully charged for longer trips)
had 4 of them latest Q8 e-tron 55 (all similar) consumption ca. 24 KW/H per 100km
S e-tron GT this year - very engaging machine (no wonder as I did it;- if you haven`t driven one - do so...)) - 550km range and up to 320KW charging capacity => drove it just as I used to use ICEs as fast charging is superfast that I did not bother even for longer trips.
Q6 e-tron see above - does all I need - less sporty - at half of the price - ok
Q4 current car - much simpler and more basic but in the mean time 500km range with 175KW charging capacity.

For me charging speed is more important than range as for day to day any range will do and for long trips the duration of your brake is essential.
