Ah well Luddite, it's not the issue of being electric that gets me. I still enjoy driving in a manner I enjoyed back in the seventies. So I have very specific needs which I've often listed here.
Size matters to me. Nothing bigger than a Golf MkVI. I have no interest in anything remotely SUV, although I was once given a battle scarred 12 seater minibus as a rental, and thoroughly enjoyed carving through traffic with that, but I digress.
Transmission really matters. Not interested in auto or DSG. Had rentals, and couldn't wait to get rid.
Don't want an electric handbrake. Had rentals, and this is just another lazy driver option.
Most EVs fail on all three. I will go down with my my driving enthusiasm intact.
