I certainly don't know the material science details or metallurgical ins and outs of the screen pillar coating issues, but......... I never understood how MMC weren't able to make the coating stick to the metal.........!
It always seemed like a fairly basic task......🤷🏻♂️
The finnish would bubble up very quickly from new.
A lot of cars also have bodywork paint bubbling issues, edges of rear wings, corners of doors, the panel below the doors, bonnet corners....... infact...... most of the car....😆
Is it a paint issue, an aluminum issue, an application issue...... a bit of everything....?
I think land rover had similar problems getting the paint to stick to the aluminium....🤷🏻♂️
