I was always a bit sceptical about the claims that the heavier V8 made the Roadster a lighter car to drive, and a good few years ago, also tried to find out what the difference in weight was. Like Heinz I could not find an exact weight. In the end I came to the conclusion that, in the grand scheme of things, it would take an F1 driver to notice any difference on the front end.
