I got made an additional zipper, parallel to the center one and just as long. It is placed a little more medial than your red stripe, so you can still use the most lateral stud on the scuttle. In that way you can even drive with the vertical part of the tonneau fixed, for a little more protection. No problem putting it on and taking it off from inside the car, or you can just tuck it away, it will not foul the belt. Now the horizontal flap is rolled backwards and the roll fixed with two straps added to the tonneau behind the head rests, using press buttons, much like a "door" or window on a camping tent, or the sidescreen on a boat canvas top if you like. In that way the redundant cloth of the tonneau stays in a roll outside, rather than folded up inside. In this way the tonneau doesn´t even touch the belt.
