I too found this way of folding excellent.
Just one point on the tenax: Prior to purchasing our first Morgan some years ago, we first hired one from Berrybrook. The hood was about 6 years old and was badly torn on both sides in that fastener area certainly due to the inexperience of a multitude of hirers. The point I am making is that there has to be a sacrificial point somewhere…broken tenax or possibility of a torn hood if the tenax does not let go ?
Good point Doug. Hadn't realised the hood tears. I don't know which would be worse a damaged hood or side panel messed up through extracting the broken thread.
I have some spare Tenax's. Perhaps I could put a small cut with a junior hacksaw in the shoulder of the Tenax just below the head. That way is would be inclined to shear there leaving the hexagon in place to remove the remainder.
