The comments about it not being a daily drive I agree are correct. It’s been mine for 3 years to the month. The engine and gear box are up to the job, no question. It’s the rest of the car that isn’t. I admit I was slightly perplexed that the factory, and three other dealers just didn’t want to PX it against a £115,000 super Sport. Seems to be that they obviously have a fear of the car. The one dealer said it would take £4k to prep for resale, the cracked wood that holds the hinge on drivers door was a worry. I had to prove when radiator was last done and then the bid he said would start with a three and really he didn’t want it. So I’ve got a lot out of the car, Ive had my fun, had the pain , and took the hit like a man !!

The chances of them getting repeat business from the 40 / 50 year olds like me, if they won’t PX their own brand against a new vehicle certainly narrows their business opportunities going forward.

One last thing, it was an Audi Dealership who took it in PX against an RS product. They admitted they didn’t really want it but they fudged the figure. Be interesting to see where it ends up.
