I don't think you are an idiot at all, Jono. Expecting to be able to do 10k miles a year in a car is entirely reasonable.

In my view the fact that Morgans require a measure more hands-on maintenance is fair enough given their fundamental design and manufacture, but I find the idea that MMC is still unable manufacture a car that keeps the wet out is frankly ludicrous. They've had over a century to perfect their design, and it's not like the technology isn't available at low cost.

I don't mind the odd drip inside my 4/4, it's 40 years old, but to spend Porsche money on a Plus Six and for it still to leak is just nuts.
