With a look at the „stick“ from the gearbox and the gearknob it‘s a „Just what‘s in the box product of MMC“…

It looks like my 2018 Plus4.

There is a matching gearknob at Halfords for a few pound, just chose your insert.

I‘ve got the same problem with the „other“ system of lower screwring which covers three screws. I change he factory MMC plastic to a aquaristic tube and problem solved. The gearknob with the screws hidden by a screwed ring I found a few month later at Halfords on a nice journey in Britain.

I hope it helps and is understandable.

Now, not only „a few pounds“ (back to my journey it was about 10GBP)
