Sorry i failed to explain well as usual. When i made the joke about styling I was talking about the EQS and it’s even more bloated “off road” model. Your comments about the Oanda/BYD stuff does remain true. A pinch of this and a pinch of that. To be fair I do think the BYD Seal coupe shape is quite well resolved.
I like the way Hyundai have made cars like the Ionic 5 and 6 as quite standout styles. Even their smaller models are well resolved. I looked closely at an i30n the other day., very well executed. If only Mercedes would have made the EQE more like the pre C class 190E as a possible example. Oanda and BYD have little heritage to trade on. For the mature audience a loss but for the new or Chinese market, which is MASSIVE in its own right, maybe a benefit.
