I have been told in 1to1 conversations, that EVs are not allowed in certain secured environments now, but I don't know whether this is the fire risk, or the surveillance risk, or maybe both.
The latter would be my guess, and a very sensible measure too in some establishments. You can build all sorts of surveillance software into a car equipped with microphones and cameras all round and its own bluetooth & internet connections. BEVS are considerably (20 times less) likely to burst into flames than an ICE car.
