We are in a "none of the above|" camp.
Nobody believes a word any politician says. The lens is what they do.
Conservatives lied through 14 years of infighting and paid the price at the ballot box. They still haven't smelt the roses. That allowed Starmer who proved to be a bigger liar than Billy Liar Boris. And with an entourage equally corrupt as the Conservatives. Then they wonder why support fell away. Labout learned nothing from the previous 14 years, or indeed, from the Blair/Brown fiasco years.
Reform is the least worse untested bunch, and I do worry about their lack of intellect and experience, and tact, but then I see Rayner............
The EU bunch are just the same, but most are unelected. It makes me wonder if demorcracy really works at all.
Political parties should be kept to manifesto promises, which if not delivered, should shorten their five years in power. Labour have sat on their arses for a year, so should be put to the vote now. All that will happen as we are now, is that Starmer will destroy the Labour movement and guarantee Farage the next election. But he can't see it.
Changing the PM won't make a shred of difference. The ship is holed.and going down.
Should this be moved to the Soap Box?
