So I did also "retune" the Strombergs during the radiator install and reset of the timing...Perhaps just leaning out the mixture might be enough to fix the vapor lock...thanks TBM - a cheap and easy fix - though I was looking forward to adding the electric pump regardless

Anyone have an opinion on using rubber fuel lines with a steel braid for the fuel line run from the tank to the fuel pump? It makes the install easier to use the braided steel covered flexible lines - but one worries about safety...
