It doesn't matter what the price of the diesel is or the quality of the supplier, we are seeing diesel fuel tanks dry at retailers, and unless they have excellent fuel filtration systems, we are going to see lots of the bottom of the empty tank sediment being stirred up when fresh supplies are added to empty tanks, same problem with drawing fuel from very low tank.s, greater risk of sediment...........plus add in the sediment in your vehicle tank as it gets closer to empty whilst searching for diesel.......most likely going to keep the recovery services busy over the coming weeks..
Lets see how many people start carrying a bit of hose pipe in their cars to alleviate their fuel worries by adding to others and relieving them of their tank of fuel. I wouldn't want a diesel car at the moment as my sole means of transport.....this is really getting serious for those living in the countryside and with no alternate means of getting about, as there is little or no public transport.
