I use that method but yours is more intuitive and less invasive. I don't like the twirl the shaft method for amateurs as it has a domino effect that requires the removal and re-install of the dizzy..which can lead to other, delicate tasks. Your way avoids that and is much less messy. I am going to use it from now on and beware, I am adding it to GoMoG.
