Here’s a piccie of plugs supplied by MMC/ dealers. Then my plug and then the sump. Note the flat machined to accommodate the plug. Not big and near the bottom edge.

I suppose after nineteen years I shouldn’t fret but it always nags at me.

And yes, just what do other owners have.

Incidentally, the original dowty washer was the wrong size!

Geoff, if you are an MSCC member this is just the sort of thing they should know.

A lesser man would have sucked the contents out / flushed and sucked out again by now and not done it properly.
