I was up at Kevin Vernon's one day when he had a DB5 in for some work, he said the same thing, he was most unimpressed with its driving qualities. Good looking though.

As for the market value of Classics as such, It does seem 70`s and slightly later fords have a large following, and are valued accordingly, my Capri pal tells me of the very high cost and difficulty in finding good quality spares during the ground up restoration of his Brooklands..
I suspect those attracted to Morgan are smaller in number, and have a sense of values perhaps associated with the hand crafted aspect perhaps harking back to craftsmanship of times past, which seems quite different from the type of history attributable to Ford`s many Classic models, sure there may be limited comparisons... BUT...?
There was a time when I was tempted to buy a pre-Oscar/India V8 Aston that was acting as a garden ornament, though the price of spares caused me to alter my desire for a large engined GT, and ended up with a series 1, 6276cc Jensen Interceptor on cross ply tyres... To keep that on petrol back then was bad enough, the thought of trying to do so today...!!!! Life was a little more interesting back then...(-:
