That’s exactly how I see it, too. Trads aren’t worth any more than a slightly better-condition used VW Polo GTI. And prices will probably keep falling. So it’s not worth going easy on the Morgan to preserve its value or for resale. I’ll take care of my 4/4 in the sense that I won’t drive it on roads treated with road salt or constantly in wet conditions. Other than that, it’s all about driving. If one day I can no longer drive, I want to see at least 300,000 kilometers on the odometer.
What surprises me are the high prices still being asked for used Morgans here in Germany. Do people really pay that much?
