Presumably the inhabitants of the 170 or so other countries that aren't in the EU are suffering the same inconvenience when visiting 'them over the Channel'? .... haven't noticed uproar on the international news pages?
It's interesting that if the UK had instigated this system then there'd be endless howling as to the incompetence of our Govt for prematurely going live with a buggy, complex and chronically understaffed debacle ..... "blah blah, Brexit, blah blah, couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, blah blah, heads must roll" ... but the other way and it's crickets as to apportioning blame where it belongs 🙂
