That's what Dave's car has,...the Mulfab bolt on replacement..............which makes it or any trad so fitted, an interesting and probabily very competent starting position for further modifications.. I wonder how many people would consider such a set up if Dave's suspension could be economically reproduced. I've always seen the frequent greasing of king pins as a necessary evil, especially as I've gotten older and have more time to put the miles up on a Morgan, hence more greasing needed, that spoilt an otherwiise great car. I would have loved such a set up on my 2012 Plus 4 Sport, Duratec engine, Mazda gearbox.......light agile and very tactile...........

I appreciate its the journey..........and some of the chassis modifications have been simple in design but very effective.. It's the lack of greasing requirement that makes the CX so enjoyable when putting the miles on especially when touring, I've done over 1k miles since my service 2 weeks ago, and I'd be looking to get them greased again, if I had a trad, no such requirement with the CX. and a trad with a similar setup, must be a joy to own.
