Can't say where I heard this but apparently the centa drive unit has been tested on a more powerful engine.

Mums' the word! Sorry just making mischief, but, yes it makes sense that if MMC are going to go with another cush drive unit, they want to make sure it will work with more power than they are ever likely to use, just in case some nutty customer has their engine tuned to stupid levels. Doesn't sound like anyone here would do that does it?

I can see a very nicely engineered set of exhaust headers going into a very sweet turbo and the power goes from around 100 up to around 150 in just one weekend's worth of work. AND $3500, I forgot that...

First post in this thread shows the hole in the underside for reaching the nipple; Hole in compensator bell housing
and the second page of this post shows the nipple on the compensator with the engine out on the bench Compensator Photos .
Best of luck and have fun!

The hole (if it is there!) will be very obvious in the first bellhousing bolted to the back of the engine. If it isn't there then I suppose you probably have the earlier compensator which I think has a steel shell but no nipple.
If the hole is there but the nipple isn't conveniently lined up then you'll find it easier to turn the engine over by rocking it in gear with the spark plugs out.
