Good post, and it echoes what we've all been saying. Welcome to TM, I'm sure we'll be hearing more from you - bring it on.

Mine is a Feb. 2013, compensator replaced at first service, voltage regulator replaced at 3500 miles both under warranty, no other faults.

I still can't walk past it in the garage without touching it, nuf said.

I had an hours drive in the 3 wheel ltd experiance ltd based at the factory several weeks ago. I'd always adored the M3W and was itching to try one after all the rav reviews etc.

I came away disappointed - far from agreeing with the reviews i couldn't see what the fuss was about. Steering that bounced about, a bevel box that would drown out last night of the proms and make your ears bleed- so bad it masked the lovely exhaust noises. Lots of rattles from the transmission etc etc.No room for clutch leg made my foot ache too. I've been saving upto buy one for ages and based on that drive wouldn't give you £3K for one let alone £30K. So so disappointed. Not a good advert for the factory at all.

It was i discovered an early car and i think unmodified, in addition to having covered quite a few hard miles.

I have since driven a 2014 car with 2k covered and it was totally different to drive. A slight bit of drive belt noise but nothing much and lots to grin about!. The steering was 100% better as was the driveline - much smoother and the engine felt more responsive too. No idea why but my foot didn't ache either!. Ears not bleeding and no bevel box screaming. My faith has been restored and i'm now about to take the plunge and gamble on a new car. I do hope its going to be Ok as i have never spent so much on a car, not even close, ever before. Fingers crossed that my car comes with the magic that is built into some Morgans, although notm all it seems.

I'm sure you'll love it.

But, your experience of the early car was very true to form, and yet, those of us who dared criticize, on here, those very traits you have described, were shot down in flames, until there were enough owners all saying the same thing, and those others were called BSD's [bump steer deniers].

Oh, how the world can change. Where are they now?

With a 2014 due for delivery soon, my heart dropped a bit when I read your first impressions. sick2

Then, I read you final impressions about the updated 2014 model and happy3

I need to stop reading these posts because they are emotionally draining, especially after paying over $60,000 for the car, which would have been more than enough to purchase many other less temperamental (and likely less exciting) vehicles.

I'm OK now Redneck, they're letting me out next week, and I'm told I'll be able to lead a practically normal life. ooo

I think the good thing about keeping in touch with us early adopters, is that whatever happens when you take delivery, and I sincerely hope nothing will happen, it will all be a big anti-climax and you will be able to point to someone else who has had worse things to deal with.
