Look at Steelie mobile device mount , I use with iPhone with Co-Pilot on for navigation in 3.7 Roadster. Magnet very strong will hold an iPad.

I've seen the Steelie fitted to Adrian's car and it is very impressive. However, I do note that in the small print, the makers will not accept liability for damage to, credit cards, computer hard-drives or. . . . pacemakers!

It's extremely neat and not obtrusive....it took me a while to notice it on Adrian's Roadster...whilst he stood there grinning at me! Pacemaker....yeah.....when your chest slams against the magnet on the dash...you are a goner!

If you read my reply you would of course note that I do use sat nav for business to avoid being late for meetings etc. However I reiterate my point that it is in fact impossible to get actually lost in the UK due to the proximity our coastline to any point in the interior. For professional use maps are still very useful in fact essential, unfortunately many of our staff can't use them anymore which I do find quite depressing. For fun I'll stick to what little memory I have left and enjoyment of the unknown road.

Maybe not,but do you think his reply was "in the spirit" !, leave it with you, shant bother asking a sensible question again to which I received a lot of sensible helpful replies which is a shame. I am asking about a sat nav mount, I find it offensive if someone then tells me to read a map.
