I got the Librands manifold and 200cell cat on my 4/4 Sport but have still the original silecer fitted. I was afraid the Librands silencer would be too noisy, too close to the sound of tuned young boys cars. A deeper burble would be no problem, but screeming noise is not the thing I like.
Can anyone describe the sound of the full Librands sports exhaust system? (2011 production model 4/4 Sport with a 1600ccm Sigma engine)

It's a shame we can't record the different exhaust combinations from the driving seat on a run and list them on here somehow and then we would all get an idea of what they sound like.
Mine is standard manifold and exhaust except I have the side exit which turned it from sounding like a Fiesta to a sports car.

I have a 2011 +4. I originally ordered the car with a sports silencer. Later I had the Librands Manifold fitted. It was then too noisy for my liking and then had the sports silencer removed and a standard silencer fitted which has given me the right "noise" I was looking for. The right "burble" and "popping" on overrun. Hope this helps. David

the aero racing sport exhaust with the 200 cells catalisor and the 4 in 1 manifold is very loud.Much louder than the exhaust of my new arp4 (except for the bangs an pops) .

Roger, please could you tell me where you got the side exit last bit of pipe from? Nick Nick I ordered it from Librands. It's a 1/4" diameter wider than the standard pipe so afer taking off the taile end section we cut a section off the flange end and welded it to the pipe coming out of the silencer to make a collar and then attached the side exit. It's a cheap fix and makes suitably more noise with a nice bit of rasp. Surprised it made such a difference!
