Without disassembling the gear lever I bought two shifter rotation rings.

After dismantling I realize it takes a plastic guide and spring ball rings.

I assure you that you risk not happened before 40.000km, 49400 for me.

I will give the Mazda references when I received the other parts.

Hi. I have a 2012 3W but i also have a Mazda MX5. Is pretty common to change the gear stick bush because the stick begin to play a bit. From what i see in your pictures it seems that the gear stick on your Morgan was working with some kind of grease. This is unusual because all MX5 i saw in my life have the stick bush lubricated by oil ( same kind of differential oil ) Maybe this is the reason of your failure. You can try to change your lever with some short shifter kit available on line. These kind of kits have all the parts you need.

replacement of parts

the gear selector box is filled with oil with MoS2

the selector box is mounted with paste silicone gasket

I am pleased to found a precise gearshift.
Parts corresponding references for advanced gear lever (half / 2013).

As one lady friend opined, "It feels just like being inside a vibrator!"

I, for the first time in my life, had no words...

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
