Yes there is already a fuse and the big red wire is directly connected to the battery. But there are two thin wires (blue and dark green) witch should command a relay on the pump and, to my mind, need 12V only when the engine is on . Where is the best place (witch relay in the fuse box?) to connect theses wires?
Thank you for your advise

My Aerois now repared
It works very well with the electric steering pump. I didn't notice a difference between electric and hydraulic system but I have not a great experience.
Just for your information, it seems that this pump come from a Mini !!! (by BMW) The kit is completed with fuse, thermic shield and pipework. Unfortunately there was no instruction or schema.
Thank you for your help

Happy motoring with the new pump! Seems like a neat install.
(I just noticed the BMW letters on your engine block, mine has a morgan plaque? thinking)

I also have a morgan plaque on the other side, so:
4 cylinders Morgan
4 cylinders BMW!
