Dear all,
Does anybody know where the eletrical motors of an Aero S1 side windows come from? It is a Bosch part.

The last time I had a huge difficulty to get from the factory an electric steering pump, and in fact it was a part for a Mini(BMW)!
Thank you for your help

Or is there a factory kit (cables and motor) to repair it?

Hello Chris

Replaced rt hand motor on my S1 a couple of years ago. Bought the replacement part from BHM (eg Morgan part) for about 170€. Not that cheap but at least when it comes to fitting probably the easiest window winder mechanism i have ever had to access (no nasty breaking clips!)

If you do the job have a look at the top pulley, on mine it was not turning due to a poor spot weld on the frame, and hence the cable frayed.

Cheers

Hi Chris
Mine is currently being replaced as it burnt out. I will try and see if the garage can supply the old one in the box it came in-if you get my drift! This is the third motor now its gone through !!!

Thank you Philippo for your answer
Do you remember if BRM provide a complete kit (with cables) or only the motor?

Chris

It was motor and cables. Just as well since in my case motor still worked and cable was damaged.

Cheers

Tried tracking all this down in the past but got nowhere and had to get the factory kit. I think the motor itself is from a Fiesta.
