One day in, and to make M3W owners feel better it does have a fault. PDI missed the steering wheel sitting 20 degrees off centre, so we will need to adjust the tracking arms.

Also, due to the inconsistencies of early chassis fabrication I needed to machine around 1.5mm off the rear of the nearside billet piece.

After I had the wishbones physically in place it took quite a while to set up the caster and camber angles with careful shimming either side of the rose joints to prevent lateral movement etc, etc. It is definitely an iterative process with each small adjustment seeming to effect everything else! I was fitting new ATR adjustable shocks at the same time which gave me more adjustment but was another variable thrown into the mix.

I used a small & inexpensive INCLINOMETER as recommended by Planenut to set the caster & camber and a home-made jig to set the wheel alignment.

Having said all this, the whole process has vastly improved the driving experience so I can heartily recommend the kit to everyone. I expect the installation would be much more straight forward for anyone with a later chassis.

Thanks for this help!

The early chassis required several shim washers to get things similar on each side even before we started on the adjustments with the rod ends. When I transferred the Empire Kit to the 2015 chassis it was all much closer and easier to set up. I don't have Bunnies carpentry skills, I just used the clino attached to to steel bits with the magnet and a Gunson Trakrite. The brake disc is handy for wheel angle. The M3W drives really nicely with a well set up Empire Kit and some decent shock absorbers and tyres, all the things Morgan still didn't fit on the final production M3W's banghead

This is good to know. Thank you.

Looks OK Charles nice maroon wheels, not for me though ! Though I bet it's fun to drive ?
The spare tyre is going to get very hot with the way the exhaust exits near it ?
Each to their own I love Morgan Three-Wheelers faults n all !

Andy,
I worked out it was far more cost effective given my lack of spare time/facilities to let an expert do the job. Craig displayed an incredible knowledge and great methodology in fitting and subsequent setting up properly my Empire Kit. it was well worth it !

To the best of my knowledge it has red spax shocks on the front which appear to be adjusted to their softest setting, with the lower wishbones parallel with the ground. the car is running on Blockleys at 22 psi. Comments, especially with regard to early models would be much appreciated.

To answer the OP:

My old 2013 was set to 140mm clearance and my new 2021 is 150mm clearance (set by Krazy Horse). Both measured unladen from the bottom of the front number plate carrier and the bottom of the lower wishbone. No problems with ground clearance on either.

110mm sounds too low.

140mm sounds like a lot, and according to google "Most sedan vehicles generally have an average ground clearance between 4-6 inches [about 100 - 150 mm]."

Do you happen to know how much lower it gets with driver and driver+passenger?
