Just completed my IoM trip! After spline repairs (and a preventative regulator change) at Phil’s in Lancaster I collected the M3W for a hot drive South (29C in Lancaster, 31C Telford etc) via M6, A49, A41, A44… car back in the garage by 10pm!

Nice one Paul, mine is still undercover in the garage after being delivered by the recovery people the week after. At some point over the winter I will get the engine out and take it up to Phil's in the van for the full mashings conversion.

Hi Laurens - my spline was repaired (I believe) per 2) in Phils post on the 5 speeder crankshaft ... Phil did show me there was a slight concave in the S&S spline faces which reduced the contact area! My thanks again to Phil for sorting the fix and spending the time to explain it to me, as well as sorting a quick-fix kit for my old regulator (ie ready to fit!).
