The point is not whether you are remoan or leave, it is whether the BBC presented the arguments in an unbiased and neutral. way, as is defined in their charter, at the time of the run up to the referendum. The answer to this is an unequivocal "No they didn't", which in my book makes them in breach of their contract to the public and surplus to requirements. In the real world such a breach would result in the contract being terminated, but it seems where taxpayer's money is the source of funding, normal legalities don't apply.
This is my reason for supporting the defunding of the BBC, the news division in particular. If politics are decided by world leaders listening to the BBC, it is little wonder the world is in such a mess.
End of rant.

We plebs in the rest of the world don't have access to the BBC News programs that are referenced in this post so I don't think we are being influenced. Anyway our news influence is FOX News which is a bigger issue than the BBC.

Ok, 95% then. wink

Based on the demographic of Leave voters in 2016, I imagine many are now dead.

37.5% of the then registered electorate voted Leave (72% of the electorate voted). Current polls indicate that only 28% do not think it was a mistake to leave.

Because a large chunk of the electorate does not bother or want to turn out, a true majority democratic mandate is rarely obtained in elections.

As far as him representing the Church of England with his marital history - I don't think so ooo

Why ever not? Does the C of E actually believe in anything these days or are they always boringly inoffensive and "turn the other cheek"? Its a failing organisation by any measure and if anything even less relevant than the monarchy.

I dont like Charles for his anti technology eco nonsense views but for the life of me I cant think of an alternative who might actually take the job.

P.S. Bonking the subjects has long been a royal way of life. Its the origin of much of the nobility as well as the Fitz..... etc

Why? Whats wrong with political indifference? Seems like a perfectly good choice to me

I don't think we need a head of State personally, we just don't need one. Or a head of the C of E.

As far as the PS goes - just because they used to do something that way is the very best reason for changing things. I fought this for most of my working life as I was always in charge of old farts in the engineering world that were reluctant to change beyond belief.

Howard - for goodness sake just buy a Morgan and enjoy yourself so as to vent your pent up mischief rofl

Well how about his elder sister. I would vote for her. What's that? modern, equality, positive force for change, cough.
