At the moment I am doing VERY regular checks due to the early cars’ coolant/rad leak issues. No losses so far after 4.5k miles.
The oil level check is “different” with no dipstick ! Hot engine and running then press a button. The result shows up on the small screen. Colour of the display indicates level and how much to add. Currently green meaning full. Been standard on BMW for several years. Tech eh!

Same for our diesel BMW B47 engined Mini which has never shown in over 47,000 miles other than oil level OK on display, so no top ups between changes. After owning the car for several years though I did find a not very obvious engine oil dipstick. I wonder therefore if there is a hidden one on your B48 petrol engine.

I'm with you on that Richard, plus my QA ocd would have to 'snag' the lumpy welds (not as neat as SiFab)

Compared to the one's that Jays and Craig had fitted to theirs this looks rough as you like also had a visual level gauge, I believe they sourced from Henry so possibly a Simon product ?

This looks like Craig's car in the Williams induction kit advert.

That Williams one looks very nicely done and incorporates a sight glass

There used to be an Ad in Mog Mag in it's early days, someone offering Mog header tanks and his photos looked good, can't find it though
