As said above I'd check the indicator relay (different to hazard) and the hazard switch. It's fairly easy to remove and open up to clean the contacts. On mine the feed for the indicators goes through the hazard switch.

I believe the hazard switch is this one if it proves to be the cause of issue. Click for source. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/fEQAAOSwxplhh9GK/s-l1200.jpg) Given the price just as easy to replace keeping old one for future repair and spare.

I had exactly this problem a year ago, see: Indicators stopped workingAs TBM says, the feed for the indicators goes through the hazard switch. The feed is cut to the indicator circuit when the hazards are on, but the switch failed internally so that the current was permanently off. I made a temporary fix by removing the hazard switch and wiring across the socket until I could get a replacement. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2023/03/21/Hazard-Socket.jpeg)

It is the thingie my diagram is pointing to. gmg

We have rocker switches in our 73 4/4. We had indicator problems too, and the issue was the hazard switch as stated above. I carefully took it apart and cleaned it. That fixed the issue. I ended up cleaning all of the rocker switches. After 50 years I guess they were due.

RMP Glad you're sorted. My rule of thumb for anything electrical is to check the earth side first, I assumed it would be the connections at the rear where they are exposed, didn't think that it would be at the flasher end.
