When I had my MTW, I fitted these mirrors from Halcyon Classic Parts.
The main advantage is that they did not vibrate, and they were very stylish sunny
The slight drawback is that you can't see anything behind, just his shoulder innocent

I also have short stem wing mirrors and the vibration all but disappears. But I have the same issue of lack of visibility rearwards when carrying a passenger. I have plans to one day add a centre mirror to overcome this though. One day. When I get time!

I have a circular overtaking mirror acting as a rear view mirror - but am tempted by this s-v-c one. Wonder if it will stay on (the Fairbourne screen)...?

I thought about a rear camera and a phone on the dash when needed, like a dash cam in reverse.

Yes - I have them on my car and work really well.

Hmmm don't think I would trust a clip on rear view mirror to stay clipped on with all the vibrations going on!

If you want zero vibration on the mirrors and therefore less vibration felt throughout your M3W then upgrade the engine mount system with the m3wservices.com engine mounting system - it makes a vast difference.

I can confirm this.
M3W Services delivered last week our car back to Switzerland, and there's a huge difference in the vibrations.
The mirrors are now absolutely vibration-free and clear all the time and at any speed.

The right one is no more than useless, the mirror section totally broke off
