I'm looking to get a new rear brake line made, or maybe make one up myself. Can anyone confirm the spec of the fittings at both ends?
I think the 90 degree one that connects to the slave cylinder is 3/8" UNF?
Is the front one that connects to the 3 way union M10 and if so, is it M10x1.0 or M10x1.25?
Any recommendations for suppliers of the braided hose and fittings in the UK?

Thanks Rog. That HEL company is a real find. I found the website a bit overwhelming at first, but once I'd discovered the configurator, it was as easy as pie.

The standard plastic sleeving over the braiding which can be specified in a myriad of different colours is a bonus.

Having removed my old brake line, I can confirm that the fittings (on my 2012 car at least) are as follows.

Slave Cylinder Fitting:
90° Swivel Female (concave)
M10 x 1.00

Front Fitting (gearbox side of bulkhead adjacent to pedal box)
90° Swivel Female (concave)
3/8” x 24 UNF

Some caution is needed here as M10x1.0 and 3/8" UNF threads are quite similar. An M10x1.0 female fitting will fit onto a 3/8" UNF male thread (albeit a tad loose) but NOT vice versa.

The length of the line on my 2012 car was 2.5m. The replacement I've ordered is 2.8m which I'm guessing is similar to that of later cars.

The cost (including the optional express delivery) was £56 which is around half the cost from MMC.

I use venhill for my Morgan and Bike brake lines - similar to HEL - you choice your length of hose and fittings for the end.

Those fittings are the same as mine, the metric fittings are identified by small nicks on the corners of the flats, UNF are plain.
Yes M10 will fit on 3/8 but will leak, don’t ask how I know.
Only Morgan would make them with different fittings at either end.

This is what I ended up with.

The 2.8m length seems just right, allowing a nice 'spare' loop behind the seat. At first when I asked for the low profile forged end they threatened to charge me a surcharge, but in the end they just made it and shipped it. I received it next day. 1st class service from HEL I reckon. It was a fiddle to fit to the bulkhead fitting under the oil tank so I was glad that I'd asked for that low profile fitting.
