Also, depending on your philosophy about safety and particularly airbags, they give 30% of the protection against a frontal collision.

Yep, an airbag is a good thing to have without a doubt. On the other hand, I never used to worry about such things in all the years before airbags were a thing, so why start now? My so-far-successful strategy of avoiding having a crash has worked for the last 45 years or so.

Modern Morgan owners seem less and less inclined to do their own maintenance, and for them the DIY argument is probably not particularly appealing. But for me being able to look after it myself is definitely at least half the fun. I'm with Flyfisher and Dave, I'm sticking with my Trad.

But then given that I haven't got a hope in hell of ever being able to afford to buy a CX anyway, I would say that, wouldn't I? smile

To be honest, I can't really quantify the joy of driving my 4/4, but I did the math anyway, and I come up with 93% 😎

The Plus 8 with 0-60 in a tad over 6 Secs and 120 mph is more than 100% for me, the sound track alone is another 50% bonus love

Less than a third the price and depreciation minimal. and I can play with it to my hearts content wash and polish annually if it needs it or not.

The nice thing about Man-Maths is that there are no GCSE or A-Level exams in them (or the equivalent in Deutschland, North America, the Netherlands, Australia, etc); therefore, no one can tell you that you're doing it wrong!

In our own way, we each come to our own formula and which ever way we come to it, we can justify it and give ourselves top marks for making the numbers work in our favour rtm

So Trad, CX, CXV, Areo, M3W or Super 3, each owner comes up to 100% in their own personal way... well, at least until a day when they want to change and then the rules of Man-Maths are rewritten to suit the decision for that day! laugh2

In total agreement other than the crucial fact that it should really be called Woman Maths as that is where it has to be proved 😎

It is only fair to my good lady that if it me makes happy she agrees, this could be due to her fondness for a GTI but I give her the benefit of the doubt 🙏🌈🥰

Exactly, I've been doing the calcs very recently because 'an opportunity has arisen' problem is a really don't want to have to loose an existing one...so it's out with the tape measure, saw and crowbar to loose some benches in the mancave confused2
