Is it the whole mirror arm that is folding or just the mirror part?
I have a 2023 Plus Four so the older trad style mirrors. I replaced the original mirrors with Librands round ones as I preferred them for visibility. I seem to remember that there was a screw that tightened the mirror up so it stayed in position. I can check later. I can remember making O-rings to help seal and cushion the mirror, but that might have been on the previous car. This was at the ball/socket joint on the rear of the mirror. The grub screws holding the stem in the base were checked for tightness too but be careful there! The base arm is not hard material so care not to damage the thread is needed.

It is the whole arm that moves as the drag pulls it back.

For me, it's first the round mirror that tilts downwards, and then, as the speed increases, the arm that folds.

The circular part tilting can be adjusted with the screw on the back if there is one. The whole arm tilting is the pathetic spring in the factory fit option. I had fluttering and tilting until I replaced with Librands

It always seems one step forward and two steps back, but eventually gets fixed (after a fashion)

The old saying....
Morgan build the cars and the owners finish them.

My grumble about the Plus Four? The stupid position of the usb sockets tucked away at the back of the glovebox and no 12V socket anywhere.

Mind you, every car I have owned has had little things like this. Some small things that get me asking...why?

I have solved the problem of the folding mirrors on my Pus Six Pinnacle, flushed out all the grease from the internals using break cleaner and then filled with two part epoxy. Have tested to 115mph, not on public roads I hasten to add and works well. Still able to adjust mirrors at the head.

they may have designed them that way so the stress is removed from the mounting when your car is going fast!!!!!!
