Thanks Stevo666! That helps! It looks like I have to do some reorientation of the location of the oil pressure/temp gauge sensors by rotating the sandwich plate between the oil filter and crankcase. I hope I can manage to move this in a way that I can keep it out of the way of the new mounts. See the photo below: https://www.tm-img.com/image/iMs6wOil change was less than 400 miles ago so maybe I’ll wait until end of season (opposite of normal…May/June since I’m a desert rat) If I try now I’ll just drain the oil and filter and reuse. Cheers, Will The sensor will need to be moved. The rectifier also needs to be moved - personally fit them all to front of body (rectifier plug still reaches Stator plug) - easier if you fit a HD rectifier.

For clarification purposes, I just requested the cost details from M3W
The price for the kit is still £980 but that is excluding VAT. UK Delivery is £10 but also ex VAT.
Fingers and toes time, but I reckon that is £1,188 delivered in the UK

Hey Stevo666…I’ve got an HD aftermarket rectifier sitting on the bench as well. When I move the original to the front of body is everything generally plug compatible. This is a part of the vehicle I have yet to touch LOL

HD rectifier is completely interchangeable, plug wise. You may need to change the ring terminal though where it connects to the B post.

Just finally getting around to fitting the kit, can anyone answer a couple of quick questions about the small bag of bits you get with the kit.
Mine contains...
2 x Rubber side bumpers used in Step 10 (I know what this is for)
4 x 6mm alloy spaces used in in step 9... Question: Why four... I have only ever heard talk of fitting one?
1 x M6 18mm flat head hex socket screw (just the one)... whats that all about?

Thanks, Craig clarified that the single M6 was just a spare screw for engine mount locking plate (for some reason)
Can anyone clarify what kind of space you need between the engine cyclinder fins and the frame (the cloest point between the two on the left,,, when looking from the front) After fitting mine is about 10mm but I didn't think to check what it was before I started!
No one seems to mention that gap in the instructions?
Edit... Actually forget that, I have the answer = Wggle the engine around with a big ass crow bar... the 10mm looks fine under such tests!
