There are two Ferrari museums, we visited both, the one in the pictures is the Enzo Ferrari workshop which is s more specific to his achievements. Both are open to everyone and not overly expensive, the shop is though, think of a number, double it then add Ferrari tax. You can hire a fancy car for as little as €180 but that only gets you ten minutes, it’s always busy so you’d barely get round the block for that, for the miles we’ve done it’d be a million £s! I parked in the public car park at first but the attendant came running over and insisted I park right at the entrance, apparently not very many owners drive their cars to these places, I’ve yet to see any other and there are no UK cars to be seen either. The factory itself doesn’t do tours for the public but the dealer can arrange this, for me though, it was never going to be available at a date convenient for both of us. ![[Linked Image]](http://tm-img.com/images/2024/04/25/IMG_9733.jpeg) . That rear window style was used for the Ferrari/Fiat (whatever you like..) Dino! Which is a beautiful creation IMO. Thanks for sharing the photographs. We are in Tuscany at the moment, bad weather on our way to here but with beautiful sun and snow in Austria. Now beautiful weather, the roads are as bad as always, but the PlusFour handles them better and with more comfort than our old 4/4!

I’d say the CX cars would be perfect for this area, the roads aren’t as bad as they look, I’ve got used to them now, once you speed up, the bumps disappear 😂I even like the driving style, pretty much do whatever you want, no need to apologise, they expect you to charge on. Every time I’ve been on holiday in a warm place I’ve always be envious of those with open top cars, dragging that Ferrari all the way here will have cost a pretty penny in fuel and depreciation but it’s worth every penny, wear and tear will be the next guy’s problem. Certainly enjoyed it more than a cruise with sweaty bus tours. Today is our last day in the region, we’re in Reggio Emilia, our nearest large town, soaking up the sun, tomorrow we head to lake Commo.

Lake Como is a nice place. It is where Peter "Gambalunga" lives. Enjoy the ride and the trip up North, and have a nice follow up excursion. Next Saturday we plan to drive to lake Como too, and then via Swiss, France - "the Vosges" - back to the Netherlands!

Ewan Your clearly having fun! If you are stil in the area and have not yet done so you should try to visit the "Maserati Museum". Virtually the entire Maserati collection was purchased by Umberto Panini when De Tomaso wanted to sell it off. https://www.paninimotormuseum.it/A good chance to buy some excellent Parmesan cheese too

That’s a pity, we should have done that yesterday, we were close by, for some reason when we searched Maserati it only looked like a car showroom of modern cars, Google has failed us! that looks to be very interesting. I’ll see how we are for time but that would be heading in the wrong direction today, we’re about four hours to Lake Como and we’ve only one night there so we want to make the best of the short visit. It’s a national holiday here today, no body works and most things will be closed, roads could be hectic 🇮🇹

Again beautiful pictures Ewan, I always love the looks of the old Countach and Espada, the Miura was always a favorite! Have a good trip to Lake Como! In Tuscany the day started with rain today, I hope you have better luck!

I reckon you must have spent more on car washes than petrol, that red Ferrari always looks immaculate! The Memsahib has been wanting to do this trip so you have saved me a fortune, she’s just followed your adventures all week and feels she has now been there and done it. Great trip, enjoyed every mile with you and your son, thanks for all the reports.
