Hmm, I am also one of the unfortunate 4/4 Sport owners with this problem (car manufactured Dec 2009 / windscreen cracked in Mar 2010). Windscreen had been replaced under warranty in Apr 2010, but I can not tell if the pillars have been changed as well:
"The 4/4 Sport uses different windscreen pillars from other classics. It curves slightly to accommodate the width of the screen. ... Replacement pillars, stronger and thicker at the curve have been made and this has (hopefully) resolved the problem."
Can anyone provide pictures of the faulty and the updated pillars in comparison??
