Whilst cleaning my 4/4 sport today I noticed that the driver`s side windscreen mounting fits absolutely flush with the side of the body, but the passenger side mounting has a gap about 1-2mm at the front edge of the casting where the body curves on to the bonnet - the back edge is flush. As this is on the side where the window cracks does anyone think this could be the problem? 4/4 owners with cracked windscreens - have a look and see if yours is the same.
