well chaps add me too, my windscreen cracked when i opened the drivers door, hood was up and the crack is on the passager side from top to toe. I have looked up an american site and their forum puts the rubber seal at fault placing to much stress on the screen. they get glass cut and remove the rubber seal and use selicon to bed the screen in. I will be doing this at the moment this car is a pain. its a 2010 4/4 sport. michael
