On the subject of secondary alternators my old formula Ford used a small alternator mounted on the side of the gearbox and was driven by a belt off the drive shaft flange. Would there be space under the seat area to mount an alternator and drive it off the propshaft.
Just a thought.
Also what is happening to vehicle classifications on the 19th of January. This one seems to have passed me by.
